Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a widely accepted medical alternative in many countries around the world, to the point that traditional medical practice or allopathic medicine acknowledges its place.
​ It is based on the theory that the cause of the disease is similar to its cure. Therefore, the treatment consists of administering small amounts of a highly diluted natural substance that, when taken in larger doses, would cause the same symptoms as the disease.

There is no certainty about how homeopathy works, as homeopaths believe that symptoms are a manifestation of the body's efforts to heal itself. Therefore, they seek the substance that causes the symptoms of the disease in healthy people.

The use of homeopathy covers almost all diseases, although it is more important in some chronic, non-serious diseases and is used in combination with other forms of natural medicine, such as acupuncture or chiropractic. Homeopathic medicines are manufactured in dilution series.

An extract from a medicinal plant or animal substance is carefully examined and mixed with a large amount of water, pure alcohol, and sugar in a proportion of approximately 100 times greater, vigorously shaken, and diluted again. Shaking is required between each dilution. This process is repeated until no trace of the original extract remains.

According to homeopathic medicine, no two diseases are the same, so there should be no identical medicines. Everything should be diagnosed, and each remedy should be formulated according to the basic characteristics of the patient.

The special attention given to each individual is, therefore, one of the most important principles of homeopathy. For treatment, the homeopathic doctor performs an examination of the patient and selects a single medication that may not even cure, but will not harm the patient because it is highly diluted.
